hi im just wondering is there any eyeinfiny benchmarks for the r9 280x and is a 3gb card for 4800x900 res gaming ?

It would be doable. 4,320,000 pixels, so slightly higher than 2560x1600 for raw pixel output.  I would say medium/high settings with AA turned down for most games will offer good playable FPS.

MSI is a fine brand, get the gaming edition 280x, I have 2 in my system, they're fine.

msi is a good brand. Go with msi, asus, or gigabyte

ok cheers and i still have one more question could i run games on high  at 4800x900 games like css cs-go battelfiled 3 and maybe bf4 farcry 3 tomb radier max payne 3 sleeping dogs and thief when it comes out

Don't get the MSI gaming 280X, it has very poor VRM cooling.

MSI fixed the issue by releasing a new BIOS which made the card louder than a lawn mower .
