Windows 10: Ghosting / "Burn in" issue

Dear community,

 

After booting to the desktop, some artifacts from the lockscreen or certain applications still show up very lightly on the desktop.

It looks similar to a LED burn it, but I am certain that it is NOT an actual burn in.


Does anyone have a smilar problem? Running the latest Win10 on my LG 34UC98W.

That is not a Windows issue. Either it is your graphics card drivers, or your graphics card itself, or you display.

Try using a different graphics card or Intel integrated graphics if you have it, and try a different display cable, display input (for example use DVI instead of HDMI, or use DisplayPort instead of HDMI, or whatever), and display cable.
