Despite the size, something tells me those fans wouldn't be very quiet.

And honestly, it's ugly af. But I do love the 90 degree power socket.

This one is sexier though: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA85V70Z8821&cm_re=motherboard_evga-_-13-188-190-_-Product

The fans are basically useless as Gamers Nexus showed

That's just the EVGA X299 board, probably the best X299 board to get.

Though why one would ever want X299 over X399 is beyond me.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Agreed. Besides, if someone wants some extra vrm cooling they could just place a fan on top of the case, if one is missing.

But even then, it's so pointless. Unless the VRMs are very shitty...

But you got to admit if you saw that you would think that someone has it for overclocking and also the 90 degree power ports is the best idea
