Help with sound splitting...

So I know there's Virtual Audio Cables but I've watched a lot of streamers who use this to split their voice coms and game sound etc.. so that maybe they don't want you to hear who they are talking to on Discord/Teamspeak etc.. but then they want you to be able to hear music and the game or maybe they dont want you to hear the music etc..

The problem I've seen with using V A C is sounds start to glitch or it just completely craps out.. due to software bugs or something idk?? Is there anything better than VAC or is there a piece of hardware I can get so I can split my sounds n such?

I think the upcoming version of Windows 10 actually will vastly improve the audio routing options available and should allow you do to something like this.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

The easy and crappy way to do it is with usb sound cards, (you dont need to route when do u have 3 audio devices :D)

https://www.amazon.es/Adaptador-Tarjeta-Sonido-Audio-Adapter/dp/B019ISXI80/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1524220748&sr=8-12&keywords=usb+sound

Case: Corsair 760T  |  Psu: Evga  650w p2 | Cpu-Cooler : Noctua Nh-d15 | Cpu : 8600k  | Gpu: Gygabyte 1070 g1 | Ram: 2x8gb Gskill Trident-Z 3000mhz |  Mobo : Aorus GA-Z370 Gaming K3 | Storage : Ocz 120gb sata ssd , sandisk 480gb ssd , wd 1gb hdd | Keyboard : Corsair k95 rgb plat. | Mouse : Razer deathadder elite | Monitor: Dell s2417DG (1440p 165hz gsync) & a crappy hp 24' ips 1080p | Audio: Schiit stack + Akg k712pro + Blue yeti.

Any other ways other than via windows?

Yes, there would be hardware solutions but it depends exactly what you want to accomplish.

Just wanna be able to split my sound for my stream/videos and not have my sound glitch or crash etc..

be able to make it so I can enable or disable sounds from different programs etc.. so like be able to make it so people can't hear when people are talking to me on Discord or make it so only I can hear music etc..
