White Keycaps on White-ish Keyboard?

Hey Guys,

 

A Strafe RGB at home has keycaps that have a face only a mother could love (shiny keycaps) and was looking to replace them with these: https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/pbt-config/p/CH-9000234-WW

 

I have these keycaps in black on my K95 RGB (non-platinum) and absolutely love them, although, The strafe RGB has a white base-plate that diffuses the light emitted by the diodes... I am never going to forgive myself for that...

 

Moving on; this base-plate also slightly washes out the colours and I'm not sure if white will look good on more white as it may have an even stronger 'washing-out' effect?
