2nd hand GPUs

rhonix

I'm planning on buying a 2nd hand GTX 1060 so i can enjoy playing Final Fantasy XV. GTX 1050ti just won't cut it. Is it worth considering or should i wait until the GPU prices mellow down?

Any insights or opinions will be well appreciated.

Honestly depends how cheap you can get a 1060 for. I managed to get a Gigabyte 1060 6GB(upgraded from an MSI 770 Twin Frozr 2GB) for $250 and it's been treating me great.I believe the new tech for Nvidia will be based off of Ampere and not Volta as previously thought( Same how AMD is using the new Vega as a small buffer while they produce Navi as their new GPU)

There was someone claiming to be leaking some info on Nvidia's new cards but no way to prove it other than waiting to see if it comes true
