Random Checkerboard Crashes

I am having random checkerboard crashes atleast twice a day and then it just restarts and everything is fine.  I have updated drivers for my graphics card which is a radeon 560 which I bought brand new from 'Pc Case Gear'.  I have 2x4gb ram sticks which is vengence and I have a AsRock motherboard.

 

Any help would be apreciated,

That's artifacting which means its an issue with your GPU.

 

Is it overclocked at all?

No nothing in the computer is overclocked.

That's a dead GPU.

Is there anything I would be able to do to fix it or should I just try and return it.

You should contact the manufacturer and use your warranty ASAP.

 

Any steps we could suggest from here would likely void that warranty so that's your next step.

If your warranty is up and they won't give you a replacement, come back here and let us know and we'll give you some more aggressive troubleshooting steps.
