Bluetooth adapter drivers

Hi, I just got a bluetooth adapter for my bluetooth controler and I tried pluging it in the computer. After that it showed me a message saying that unknown device is connected. I tried searching for drivers but Windows said that the newest drivers are already installed. I searched for device model number or manufacturer but there was nothing on the box or on the properties of the device. I tried using it on my older computer and it worked. After that i pluged it in my new computer and it found drivers but there was a problem. After that I somehow got it to work and tried connecting the controler to the PC, but it asked me a password, I was confused and tried again and this time it said that the device can't bee connected. After all I tried repluging the adapter again and it lost the drivers again. Btw it works perfectly on my older computer. What should I do?
