Excuse my poor writing and describing skills//

I have a MS-Windows 10 desktop and this little USB 3 flash drive I don't use anymore, and got to wondering, is there a way I could make a boot media on a USB that uses a light linux distro (im working with 32GB so ive got plenty of space, ill format whatever is left of the drive as a Storage partition) as a Boot Manager, preventing the computer from being booted without the USB installed? Is there a way for windows to do it via an application? Anything appreciated thanks

You should be able to put the bootloader on the USB in theory, yes.  You could also set a password in the BIOS.  Neither of these offer a lot of protection by any means, but they would certainly get in the way of most people making a casual attempt.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

if I could get something that would encrypt all partitions/drives A:/B:/C: ... etc and put the keys on the flash drive, that would be fantastically cool.

That sounds like something that could be done but I don't know the details of how you would start

Nor do I, I am certainly experienced with computers but all of my knowledge is hardware end, installs of servers mostly. Most I've done with Software is install/use an OS and play around with MAME and similar emulation environments
