All my photos are out of order

Phone Samsung Galaxy s7 edge SM-G935V (verison) running nougat and a 120gb micro SD

All my new photos won't save to my micro sd card and when I open up photos in apps they are in complete random order till about this summer on the timeline. Not having all my photos )about 1500 of them) in order is really annoying

I would suggest using google photos. Also as a backup, but with it you can search a certain thing(like a car, or a person) but also it categorizes them by date too, and you can search them by date later too.

As for your sd card, try shifting some photos off it and then shift back. If it works, it probably means your sd card is full. Counterfeit sd cards exist.

actually, I had to reset my phone and all my photos were in order after. I hope that micro sd was good Because i got it from a tech retailer micro center
