1st custom scratch build

This is my first custom mod so it isn't going to be perfect. Here we go.... I got a desk from ikea a while back my pc sat under it and there was a mass of cables and not much room. I kept looking at the shelves I have triple monitors so both are partially blocked so I decided to build my pc in to it

I bought an old pc for £10 and ripped it apart taking and sprayed the motherboard tray

From here I removed the left hand shelf unit and attached the shelves to the base I also attached a perspex back

Cut my ports out of the side

20180301_154422.jpg

Offset the front perspex with stainless steel mounts and added checkered aluminium which I might remove later

20180303_213421.jpg

added edging to my front screen and mounted an old motherboard 20180307_201747.thumb.jpg.c124fadfa1ded4da936d910efb8d9ffd.jpg

I created my fan mounts and a psu mount.

The Psu mount and motherboard mount are currently being edged

Sorry about crappy photo quality and hope you enjoyed so far. My future plan is once this is done take the right side of my desk and make the same copy but install the water Cooling system there.

Ps let me know what you think

For all those hardware junkies. My components are

Ryzen 1700

Corsair 3200 rgb

Thai chi mother board

My old 650 Wat semi modular psu that will be paracord sleaved

And my old hd7950 graphics card

What do you mean by black edge the fan mounts? Like paint them?

Oh. I actually think it would look better without the black edging for the fan mounts. I like how the clear acrylic looks for the fan mounts.

Emailed Zalman hopefully they will have 2 of these bad boys in storage so I can build them in to the right hand shelving unit.

I have done some minor mods and will be paracording my psu for the next couple of days.

I'll update with photos tonight of the minor mods.

So I decided I'm going to get a fully modular psu. So couldn't be bothered slaving the rest. I put it together for the mean time until I get new fans and a psu
