Android No Ringtone Output

UPDATE: Never mind, I have found the issue and fixed it.

I can't remember for how long exactly but whenever I get a call coming through on my s7 edge, there is no ringtone. I have made sure that the ringtone audio is on max and it is not on silent but there is still no audio. It is strange as I do get audio alerts for text messages. I have searched online but they only talk about turning off silent and putting the volume to max. Has anyone else had this issue and if you have fixed it, could you say how?
