Question about USB KVM

Hello,

 

I want to connect my digital piano to both my computer and phone. The piano has one USB 2.0 type B port. I understand that I cannot use the piano on both my computer and phone at the same time. I don't want to switch cables every time I want to use my other device so will the device from the link do the job? And will there be any additional latency (important for MIDI devices to have as less as possible). Thanks

You will need to contact the manufacturer to determine latency. 

 

the kvm's is used install as generic USB mouse and keyboard, they don't pass data. 

 

Maybe you can find a Bluetooth to USB device or something of that nature.
