GP62MVR Video Issues

I cracked my Screen, Brought it to a local shop to have it replaced, I didnt want to pull out the kit and replace it myself. I am in the middle of house renos etc.

A few days after, I booted up overwatch while on the late shift, and noticed splintering, It started out as minor, looking like a ball had hit a window from a focal point, and from there it spread out. from the Aiming reticule.

MSI GP63MVR, Leopard Pro, Laptop, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060

Normal operation for work is fine, anything higher FPS, gets bad.

Thoughts? Did they not connect the harness back? properly? broke the pins?

I had zero issues before. So if it is something major, I will be taking it up with them to correct.

My first instinct says that either they didn't use the right screen or there's a bad connection; the fact that this only occurs at higher fps sounds like a display bandwidth issue to me.

I hate the idea of paying somebody else to fix hardware for me, but if I were in your situation I would just bring it back to that shop. Good luck.

My Thoughts exactly, I would of preferred to do it myself, but not enough time in the midst of a house wide reno
