You have not answered my question. 1060 6GB for over 500 is way too expensive and so does 1060 3 GB

This isn't a good time to build new computer.

So any GPU price you get isn't a good deal but then again, there are no other option, it just getting worse each day.

if you think you can afford it then go for it, if not then wait till you get better deal, or buy used (even used market is dry for maxwell/pascall gpu)

There is no GTX 1060 4GB (yet), there are only 3 variant as for now, 6GB, 5GB (only released in china), and 3GB.

it must be GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, it match the price with current market.

Either way, it's expensive and you will over limit your budget.

Agreed.

Look on the used market for a Kepler(GTX 700) or Maxwell(GTX 900) card

Yeah, although those are just the series numbers. Something like a GTX 780/780Ti or GTX 980 would be a good option.

GTX 780 or 980

Difference? can you tell me all the small details etc

GTX 780 consumes higher power, only has 3Gb VRAM, and is clocked lower(863Mhz base, in the region of 900Mhz boost).

GTX 980 consumes less power, has 4Gb VRAM, and is clocked higher(1126Mhz base, 1216Mhz boost).

Overall the GTX 980 is better, but may be harder to find at decent pricing(200 USD) since it's good for mining. Kepler series cards like the GTX 780 can be found for pretty good prices since miners can't use them in their rigs. The 780 and 780Ti perform about the same as a 1060 3Gb and are excellent cards for gaming at 1080p.

Mining is a term used to describe running calculations and solving equations through a process called hashing. Every time a hash is completed, a coin is created, such as Bitcoin. Mining is basically what generates bitcoin, ethereum, and all the other cryptocurrencies. Miners are the people who buy all the GPUs since they're better for mining than CPUs. Different GPUs have different hashrates(hashrate = how long it takes a card to finish a hash).

Most of the GTX 900-series cards, the GTX 10-series cards, and the RX 400 and 500 series cards are really good for mining due to higher hashrates and lower power consumption. Due to this, miners have been buying a lot of GPUs which is why prices are so high right now.

This is also why the GTX 700-series cards like the 780 are really good budget cards since they've gone down in value a fair bit since their release in 2013-14. The 780 doesn't have a very high hashrate, and that series struggled with power efficiency a lot. The GTX 780 draws 250W, which is a fairly high amount, but due to those two reasons miners wouldn't profit from mining with Kepler-based cards. They can usually be found for a pretty low price.

Before you ask how much I paid for my GTX 780, I got it for free from a generous friend <3.

It'll run most modern games pretty well with a decent overclock(I got mine to 1105Mhz), but you would be better off with a GTX 980 if you don't want to upgrade in a year or two.

I don't run enough demanding games on my GTX 780 so I plan on keeping it around for a few years until I start playing some more demanding games.

Check the used market in Craigslist or whatever you have in Israel. You should be able to find a GTX 980 or even a 980Ti for a pretty decent price. I see 970s and 980s all the time in my area for 150-175 USD.

They'll be cheaper even if you're buying used. The 1060 is one of the best value mining cards right now, and have been hard to find for MSRP for quite some time now.

Israeli dollars or USD? In USD, that's pretty high, but still not low enough that I'd get one.
