Hey, So I built a new system and stupidly brought a H270N-wifi instead of a Z270N-wifi my bad, but my Cpu on a base clock with a properly set up H60 is running at 100 degrees  on a base clock this doesn't seem normal. Turned off and turbo boost and lowered the voltage to 1.125V from 1.3V. This means on a stress test I'm getting max 97 degrees still doesn't seem normal. Could something about the H270N be the problem? Also any motherboards I should look at as I'm hopeful I can replace it. Also any ideas how to quickly sell my motherboard I got?

I have reapplied paste and I ran the cooler with just the pump to see if the heat was spreading properly and it clearly was. It is cooling the chip but the chip heats up anyway. My problem is when I am stress testing or gaming it doesn't heat the cooler much it did when I wasn't running the fan but with the fan the cooler is cold to the touch even when the cpu is at 100 degrees. Could I have a faulty Cpu that doesn't have proper conductivity with the heat shroud so my cooler isn't getting enough heat to move away? Thanks for the reply, any thoughts on the motherboard? Could it just be running my Cpu poorly and so its heating up when it isn't?
