Locked at 60fps. Help?

Hey guys, 

 

So randomly it would seem my frames have been locked or capped at 60fps without any VSync enabled on games, such as GTA 5 and PUBG, and even Minecraft, im not sure if its a Geforce experience setting im missing or something? but its kinda anoyying.

Ive looked at a YouTube video, because when id play a game like The Forest, id get crazy screen tearing, so I changed the VSync option from " Use the 3d Application setting" to Adaptive, and that is the reason why it was locked at 60fps thanks :)
