I just booted my PC a few minutes ago and while it loaded into my lock screen, the ASUS logo, Windows logo, and loading wheel were severely glitched as if they were chopped up and slid all around the side of my screen. After loading into my lock screen I didn't have a single issue and still haven't. A minor concern at first except for the fact that I've had this happen before for completely different reasons. The first time this happened was around two or three years ago on my Alienware 17 laptop from 2014 which in all honesty was a 10 pound piece of hot garbage. It required a complete screen replacement and thanks to a friend's dad who ran a local electronics repair shop I only had to pay 40% of Dell's $450 asking price. But now I'm running on a desktop and am really concerned because the monitor itself is perfectly fine and so is the GPU. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of my PC booting up but I do have pictures of my laptop when it had the same issue. As you can see the issue started small but got to the point where the screen became completely unusable. I'll attach them as well as the link to the old link to the laptop issue. I'm running an LG 34UC87C Ultrawide display off of a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Extreme Gaming Edition.
