So recently, my G930s have kicked the bucket. the hinge on the left side has broken and been glued back together too many times, and now the headphones are unwearable. If anyone has a tip for that, it'd be appreciated. In the meantime, I have an old pair of G230s that work fine, except that the cord is screwed up near that stupid volume controller. Would it be reasonably possible to replace the cord for them with a new one, and if so, how would I go about doing that?

I have a set of basic tools and a soldering kit if needed.
