PC Build for Unity Game Development

Hi, I'm going to college this July and the curriculum states that we would use Unity. I am currently using an Acer laptop with a pentium and intel HD graphics only capable of DX9 so I'm deciding thinking of upgrading to a desktop with a budget of around PHP 40,000 (around $800). Currently, I am planning on using Ryzen 3 1200 and a GTX 1050 Ti with 16 gb of ram. Can you guys tell me if this is good enough or if I need to change some specs.

Which University lol. Will you live in a dorm? I'd actually recommend a laptop for that. Had a terrible experience trying to use a desktop in college.

I'm planning on going to iAcademy and yes, I would live in a dorm. If I were to use a laptop, what specs would you recommend?

I suggest you wait for those laptops with 8th gen intel CPUs with Vega M graphics. Should be around that price range.
