Mic not working in game

Recently I have been having trouble with my microphone not working in games with ingame voice chat such as overwatch where it is sorta essential. It works in discord and teamspeak but I cannot for the life of me figure out why it isnt working in game. I am using a Shure SM58 connected to a Scarlett 6i6. I have only had this problem on my new pc.
