980TI dual display problems

I'm hoping that someone might know what's going on because searching on the internet is not working. I have both of my monitors plugged into my graphics card (Nvidia 980ti). My right monitor is an Acer connected with an HDMI and the left is an Asus connected with a display cable. This setup has been working for a while but when the driver updated to 390.65 suddenly everytime I turn on my PC my left monitor isn't being detected. I've been having to uninstall the driver and reinstall it everytime I turn on my computer. 

 

does anyone have any idea what could be happening?

are you uninstalling with DDU when you do that?

perhaps just a broken driver... 

 

try to remove it using DDU, then get an older version. Like the one you had installed before.

 

If this doesn't help, well the 980 could have a defect, the display, or the cable...

I tried the DDU and it still does it. The only solution I have now is to unplug the monitor for a second whenever I turn on my computer and then plug the monitor back in. I was wondering, since this happens every time I turn on the computer, if it is a setting in the bios or something that I can change? I'm new to pc world and haven't really messed with motherboards and boot systems before.
