I rencently brought a pc HP omen 880 and it refuses to turn on. The fans begin spinning and the front lighting comes on and 1 second later it turns of it is repeatedly doing this its in warranty but i would prefer not to have to take it to the store unless i have to

Try removing the battery and unplugging the charger and hold the power button for 60 seconds. This will discharge the capacitors inside the laptop and may boot up fine afterwards

Thatd be my first guess if you cant even get it to post, it maybe faulty, so I think youre going to have to take it to the store Im sorry to say, unless you want to order a better one and self-replace, which IDK how easy that is on that prebuilt

Try reseating the ram, the cpu and the gpu. Or you could try to remove the cmos battery for a few minutes and see if that works. If not you will have to take it back to hp

Im not sure if thatd void the warranty in a prebuilt though

Good point. Try calling hp or send them and email asking them if you can open up your pc before atempting anything
