Hard Drive Started Slanted

Go to solution Solved by Lurick,

You could put the drive in at any angle you want, it won't harm it. Heck, I've got drives in my main rig and all the drives in my NAS are vertically on their sides.

I screwed my hard drive into my case and I didn't notice the hard drive was a bit slanted upwards. I started my computer and when I noticed it I quickly turned it off. I was wondering if this could have damaged the hard drive since it occurred only for about 5-7 seconds.

Thanks!

Alright, thank you for letting me know!

Yah, I edited my post just a second ago but basically unless you're tossing them around or moving them in a jarring manner, they are fine in any direction :)
