Earbud Help

So since I have no money after building my PC, I can't afford headsets. I do have earbuds with a mic ive been using on my laptop however. So my PC and laptop both have the two ports (MIc and Audio Out) and when I was using my laptop, my earbud's Mic and audio worked fine; plugged into the audio out port. On my PC however thats not the case, How do I fix this!

You need a 2-to-1 adapter.

As long as the '2' side is male 3.5mm connectors then yes.
