Hi. I want to expand my drives. Will just do JBOD on this. Are the HGST He8 helium drives good? Any feedback on the drives? For 199.99 USD a piece I cant seem to resist. :)

HGST is owned by Western Digital, but HGST tends to use some of the newer techs that WD develops so that WD can iron out any difficulties before launching under their name.

This is a good drive and I would recommend it for RAID 5 if you can buy three disks.

Thanks! I intend to buy more than 3 for RAID 10. Ive had HGST 7k6000 drives.. all is good but for the 4kN ones, Ive got one just died. I also got He10  and the performance is great. I asked here because I cant find in depth review on the He8 series and I cant find it in the HGST website. Perhaps the He8 is an old model? I am questioning the very low price for the capacity.
