Currently running a GTX 1060 6gb edition with and i5 6600k on a Gigabye Aorus Gaming K7 Z270 board and I'm experiencing weird FPS in game. Had no problem on my old ASUS H170 board but ever since I swapped board and wiped hard drives for fresh install of Windows and drivers my FPS has not been the same in most games. Used to get around 400 fps in CS GO at 1080 now I struggle to keep a constant 90. Big games like GTA V havr weird pop in errors for textures when before it wasnt a problem. Temps are fine and currently running a stable 4.5 overclock. All drivers are up to date. Anyone have an idea?

Do you have any shutdowns ? Crashes to desktop ? What is GPU/CPU utilization when running games with bad performance?

No shutdowns crashes or anything out of the ordinary. My CPU is usually pinned at 100% with my gpu not really going above 70%. I noticed this today and have tried many things to fix my bottle necking and I cant seem to figure out why.

Sounds like CPU bottlenecks GPU but should not be that hard i have the same processor with that same OC and a 1080TI. Did you maybe mess up with that OC on processor ? Are you sure about everything is fine with drivers ? Did you OC the 1060 ? How hot is your Processor when gaming and how hot is your GPU ? Messed up Thermal Paste when reinstalling everything ? using toothpaste grade stuff ?
