So are you referring to the dips when they kick on and off? So when the fan reaches the temp you put, they kick on, once they are on the gpu drops below the the temp they should be on. Make a better profile.

No. The card doesnt even reach 60c for instance. It kicks on and off even when i set it to 0%.

oh okay I see. Do you have multible pieces of software that control fan speed? sometimes they interfere and cause problems. Also try a simple driver reinstall.

No im only Using gpu tweak 2... And whenever the fans woudln't normally spin, they kick on and off.

I had Fan speed on auto since i got the card 2 weeks ago. And no it just doesnt stay at 0% but would always jump up and down.. Idk why.

I just played an hour of pubg and everything works fine but when the card would normally idle at 0% it just does this on and off thing.

Well yeah.. i took off the 2nd monitor and its idling at 48 fix now. No fan juggling anymore.

Damnit. Seems to be true that there are bugs occuring with multiple monitors and the gtx 1080 ti.

yah, that sucks. But I still recommend you use afterburner instead of gpu tweak II maybe if you override the fancurve there it wont go on and off.

Doesn't go on and off anymore. It's an nvidia issue. I use a 144hz monitor and one 60hz monitor. I set the 144hz one to 120hz and now everythings finde. idle at 45-50c.

So to anyone with this problem: Its the use of multiple monitors that causes it. It's a known issue and hasn't been fixed yet, unfortunately.

Thanks for your help!

gpu usage may be low but if that's youre memory being used, that's the cause. My cards used to run with the memory maxed out and idle at 60c.
