External gpu for MacBook Pro 13

I was thinking of getting an external gpu enclosure like the Akitio Node for my MacBook Pro 13 (boot camp) so I could play games on the go. Is the dual core CPu a bottleneck for a 1070 that will come out of my current setup during trips.

If you have at least decent internet, you could try GeForce now

 

otherwise, your cpu is a bottleneck, though with that high display screen, it might not be way too bad
