Hi all, I just fit my Hyper T4 snap on bracket on my am4 cpu. I checked the alignment and it fits but when i apply the lever I felt some force, is this normal? Thanks

I checked other forums and most of them replies that snap on spring clips will fit but not the back plate types, very appreciate for assistance. I scare i apply too much pressure on my mobo and CPU

If your board is flexing, you're definitely applying too much. The only time I've heard of too much pressure on a CPU actually affecting it was back when Skylake architecture was just coming out.

My board is cool, no flex only the pressure that bothers me

I even checked and cross refrence the part code at coolermaster website and it says it will fit out of the box

Well, the cooler isn't supposed to be loose, it it? The Ryzen stock cooler fits on pretty darn tight, so other coolers should too.

Absolute correct, before i pull the lever down it was loose, after i tighten lols it won't even budge. Thanks

I am a bit anxious cause i saved 3 month to buy this new build. A bit off the charts.
