I'm thinking of building a pc with a 3570K and wondering if anyone knows if an Asrock Z77 extreme4 would fit high profile RAM with a CM Hyper 212 EVO? If it doesn't fit would it be a good option to use the stock cooler and then get a h60 later. I'm also open to suggestions for coolers of the same price range and performance

as the hyper 212 EVO.

Main rig:

• Ryzen 3600X • X370 Killer SLI • 16GB Corsair LPX 3200Mhz • Strix 1070ti • Define R5 • SuperNova 750 G2 • Evo 1TB + X300 4TB •

Secondary rig:

• Acer prebuilt • Rzyen 1700X (upgraded) • OEM 1060 3GB • 256GB SSD + 1TB Seagate (upgraded) •

Definitely enough clearance man.

You might not be able to see two of the RAM sticks under the CPU heatsink, but they will fit.

Although how high-clearance we're talking about I'm not sure. Could you provide me with the specific RAM model?

The ASRock Z77 Extreme4 + 3570K are great choices, have them myself. I have a very similar cooler and my G.Skill RipjawsZ fit fine :)

I'm thinking of getting these Crucial Ballistix Elite 2x4GB 1866MHz CL9 RAM because it's really cheap £43 which is 50€ or $65 but so big. I'm from Finland so i shop at Amazon UK. Soooooooooooo great prices.

I am a huge fan of closed loop cooling, very easy and very effective! Personally, i would stick with the stock cooler (and no overclock), and get a closed loop system asap! :)
How many GHz do you think you'd get out of a 3570K with a H100i

• Ryzen 3600X • X370 Killer SLI • 16GB Corsair LPX 3200Mhz • Strix 1070ti • Define R5 • SuperNova 750 G2 • Evo 1TB + X300 4TB •

I think you SHOULD be okay, but I can't find any measurements so I cannot say for sure. Honestly, I would say stay safe and look at some low(er) profile RAM.

Mine fits with about 10mm to spare and it is not as high profile as the Ballistix.

Well I'm probably gonna go with some Corsair vengeance 1600MHz RAM cause it says it is really overclockable. And if you can't trust Corsair I don't know who you could trust. Linus'es videos have taught me Corsair = quality + Good value. Thats why I'm going to use a Corsair PSU, case, RAM, CPU cooler and maybe fans if i can ever afford them. Corsair FTW

Vengeance memory is excellent, but overclocking it won't really net you more performance.

Otherwise, that'll fit fine and that memory is excellent.
