Normally I would say iOS without hesitation but in light of all the recent issues, I'm not so sure anymore

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

their only as safe as you are with it.

but i like android over IOS, but IOS is good if you just like a sleek clean phone, android can be overwhelming and not look as good as IOS does.

They are just about the same.  If you lose it and someone else finds it and they want in bad enough, they are gonna find a way regardless of whether or not it is apple or android.

I'd still say iOS.....Although, I'd also say that OP probably doesn't have anything important enough that he needs to base his buying decision on security, and should instead focus on literally everything else first.

I agree with what @Gclaw said

As a sidenote a ios hack costs 500k whereas a android one costs  100k
