As far as I know, there's a VGA D-sub connector for graphics card to monitor, and pcie cables, which are 8, 6+2, and 4+4 pin.

The PCIE power connectors are occasionally labelled with "VGA".

 

BTW 4+4 is EPS (CPU power, not PCIE power).

PCIE power connectors are of the form 6, 6+2, and 8.

CPU power connectors are of the form 4, 4+4, and 8.

You're right, I thought I remembered my old PSU having a 4pin pcie connector.
