Can't really do much for a laptop except upgrade RAM + Storage.

Can you tell me what you have in your system currently?

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Looking more closely at the specs page, there's really no way for you to reasonably upgrade this laptop. :(

Usually laptops have an extra RAM slot or Storage slot; turns out yours has neither.

And upgrading the GPU basically isn't a possibility on any laptop, even the super beefy ones.

no money? you can add a nividia GTX 460 for 20$ and it will be 15 times as powerful as your integrated graphics

Please don't argue with me, I am just trying to help, or be helped. (we are all humans right?)

oh... really? Like I said... no idea. So.. that will help? And how to I upgrade it?

For around $100 you could do a 1050. No need for power cables from the PSU and you'll game much better. Also the GT 1030, a very underrated card for prebuilt systems.

Need cheaper? GTX 660 or Radeon HD 6770. Really ANYTHING at around $30-$60 will do you perfectly fine

To install it, pop off the side panel that shows you all the internals (usually the right panel if your looking from the back) and pop it into the slot. Some cards require an adapter to your power supply. If your PSU doesn't have the connector you can get an adapter for around $5. But the 1050 and 1030 I mentioned won't need one of those. Plug n play

Er, i was talking about the desktop not the laptop if that's what you thought I meant lol xD

The "battery" on your desktop is the big cube that has all the wires coming out of it, connecting to all the other parts of the computer. That's the "PSU" or "Power Supply Unit". There should be a sticker on it, could you post a pic of it? And the inside of your computer as well?

Typically for something like the GT 1030 you won't need a new PSU. It is a very low-power drawing graphics card and any PSU above 300 watts should be perfectly fine.

I believe that it has enough power. I was taking it apart today to look and it should be good to go!

Good luck then and glad I could help friend. Would like an update when you get up and running, let us know what you went with and how it performs comparatively to now ^_^
