MSI & Ryzen RMA

I looked into msi website. https://www.msi.com/page/warranty

 

motherboards only have 12 months warranty, which seems to be a bit short. I can't find the receipt. is the serial number on the box enough to request an RMA?

 

also how are AMD /ryzen rma process like? You just need a serial number to initiate rma?

The best people to ask about the RMA policy at MSI would be the people with custome support at MSI.  The same applies to the AMD/Ryzen question too.

why do u ask why?

Because if there is a fault now, you shouldn't just blindly RMA. RMA'ing screws up sales for a product on certain platforms, which causes a lot of issues for the manufacturer, and will piss them off if you RMA a product with no issues.
