Google music app issue

So I'm using Google music app on my phone to play music and sometimes I like to jump to certain parts of a song, but every time I try to skip to a certain part of a song it just keeps restarting the entire song. I tried force stopping the app, clearing the cache, restarted the phone. Idk how to fix this issue. I've tried playing music on Google music on a different phone and it works, but on my Razer phone it just won't let me play specific parts of any track. Please help. Thank you in advance
