Adobe Audtition live voice issues

Hey everyone, i've recently been using adobe audition to make my voice quality sound better when i talk on VOIP. It's amazing, but the only problem i'm having is that sometimes, mostly when i enter/exit a fullscreen application, my voice tends to go very robot-like, as described by friends. i'm using pretty much the setup this guy made a tutorial of. I was wondering if there's any way to fix the robot voice.
