They are both PC3-12000 (DDR3-1600) with similar timings, so it should work if you buy it.

 

Is this to replace your current one? If so, it should be no problem.

 

If you plan on using both of them together, you will want to check that your laptop has a second memory slot, and you may also want to consider that it's generally not recommended to run different memory together at the same time.

it has 2 slots and its a upgrade for my old laptop sometimes i use it when im out of town 

so this will work

It *should* work, it'll be physically compatible, but like I said - not recommended to run different memory together. Your machine might not run them at their full speed for example, or you may get other weirdness.

 

Also, make sure you're running a 64-bit operating system, otherwise you'll never even see the other 4GB of ram available.
