nice, but quite outdated CPU. You also didn't mention if it was for gaming or workstation due to the firepro card?

Yes, ir is a outdated CPU, but still a good performance. For the most of the time i use my PC as a workstation and sometimes I play UT2004/UT3, when the nVidia GTX760 come on the market i will upgrade it. so I will be ready for the next Unreal title with a Unreal 4 engine.

I am not sure which mainboard and CPU brand i will upgrade to at that time.
