Cpu usage while gaming

Hello, i don't know if this is the best place to ask my question but i don't realy know where to post it...

I have a decent gaming laptop from msi the gp62mvr leopard pro

I live in europe so it's better to say the specs:

I57300hq

Gtx 1060 6go

Ssd 128go

1to Hdd

8go ram

Windows 10 pro 64bits

 

So, when i am playing games like tomb raider(2013) i am experiencing casual freezes, sometimes when i browse the web or even lunch an app, i can have a freez not long but still it s a freez and you can feel it...

When i am playing pubg, my fps are under 50 in some places. I checked my cpu and gpu usage with msi afterburner and it's looking like 98-99% on gpu (68°c) and when i check at my cpu, it's not at it full potential, his clock speed is at 3.08ghz when it can go up to 3.5ghz.

 

Ps: i am sorry and i apologize for my english, i am not good at it, i hope it's understandable and someone van actualy help me. I am also writing it on a phone so if you need more informations or whatever,feel free to ask. Thanks

Games may not be as cpu intensive as gpu intensive, but a 1060 should be able to handle tomb raider.What settings are you playing at?

I am experiencing fps drops from stable 60 to 27. And sometimes i am getting small freezes while oppening apps like discord.
