Fair price?

I came across an add listing for:

R410 motherboard

2x Intel xeon x5550 Intel Ark
16gb DDR3
HDD (120gb - 500gb)

the guy has 5 servers like the one above selling each for 300€ without a case. Now I don't have anything planned just seems like cool hardware for something (any suggestions welcomed).

All i want to know really is, if its a fair price?

thanks ill see if i can drop the price!

Dont have anything in mind yet just seemed like a cool piece of tech for a rainy day to play around with or maybe turn it into a folding machine or a plex server or something nothing has been decided yet :)

I cant really see where the fans headers are on this motherboard but watch out for rare headers. If there are like 6-7 pins you will have to buy weird 80mm fans wich are really noisy and if you dont plug in like 4 of those noisy fans it wont boot...

You won't really be able to use this board without the chassis it is meant for (R410). The power supply connector *looks* normal, but probably isn't. The fan connectors definitely aren't standard.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:
