Hey, I got a Ryzen 5 1600x on stock speed (didn't have time and patience to really OC anything). However my current cooling option (212 turbo) is annoyingly loud, so I thought that I could replace it with a AIO cooler. I was thinking about 2 options. The first would be to buy a 120 mm radiator, dismount the 120mm fan in the rear and put it there. The other option would've been to put a 240/280 in the front and I would have to disassemble my entire PC. I mostly wonder if the rear-mount would cause too high temperatures due to being the exit of the warm air from the case itself.

I will probably try and reset the fan-curve of the entire system, but just in case I'd want some input from you guys to both mounting options.

i would go for a 240/280, i don't think 120mm are worth compared to decent air coolers.

Would be helpfull posting some specs?

I thought the info about "stock Ryzen 5 1600x" would be enough? Well, other than that a X370 Gaming Plus from MSI and also a 1070 gigabyte g1 gaming and a  550W PSU

I would recommend putting a 280mm in the front of youre case pushing hot air out of youre case. I dont really know youre budget but if you got 100$ or more to spend take a kraken X62 perfoms really well. If you take a 120MM youre better out with an air cooler.
