Citrix and audio

Hey there.

 

My company is using Citrix and sadly I have no access to anything before opening it. When I want to listen to some music while working I have to open it inside Citrix and the audio quality is very bad. I was wondering if this is caused by my company's laptop and its hardware or is it Citrix? If I connected a DAC/AMP would it change anything? What are my options here?
