So I jsut built my computer in a new case. I just rebuilt the entire PC in the new case that I got with the only change of replacing the CPU cooler with an H100i, and the PC worked flawlessly with the Hyper212 Evo in the other case. This is my first build but I followed Linus' instructions step by step and I think I built it correctly (although I must have messed something up) So when I turn on the PC, the lights on the case light up and the CPU fans begin to spin at what seems to be peak rate. After several seconds it slows down for about a second then shuts down completely. After about 5 seconds it turns on and repeats itself. It continues to do this indefinitely. What could cause this? Could I have broken any of my components in the build? Any suggestions on what to do? PLEASE HELP!!! Also the case fans turn on, can't tell how fast but they are connected to MOBO not the H100i pump. I tried using the battery method to reset cmos since I didnt seem to have the thing to plug into in port. I also tried installing the stock intel cooler instead of the H100i with no luck. It doesn't even get to the bios! What should I try next? Or should I take it in to a computer shop to see if they can help?

you moved a previous computer to a new case, how old are the parts?

do you get the bios screen or no screen at all?

have you removed all the parts and placed them back in looking for a short? an extra standoff in the case without a screw hole

The parts are about 9 months old. I do not get to any screen. I will try removing them. Should I just re-plug them back in, or completely dis assemble the PC?

take out one stick of ram and try it, if it doesn't work take out the other and put the first stick in

oh yea, are your standoffs placed correctly?

I think they are, all of the wholes in the case that were marked "A" had standoffs in them and I never removed the ram from the motherboard but I will try in anyways.

Full specs?

Are your standoffs in the right place?

Is there anything shorting any of the connections on the board?

get the the point where you can take the motherboard completely out of the case, then remount the motherboard back into the case.
