Random BSOD Windows 10.

My PC was idle with just chrome open and without any errors or signs it just died.

I got an error saying:

Shutdown code: ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY _MEMORY 

Malfunction: nviddmkm.sys

 

This was the first BSOD every since i built this PC so i'm not sure what could have caused it.

My CPU is Overclocked to 4500MHz at 1.248V but i never had an issue with it so far.

nviddmkm.sys says your gfx card driver crashed your system.

 

first bring all drivers up to date, then see if it happens again, if yes, try running without any overclock at all.

 

If the BSOD still occurs with nviddmkm.sys last option is a fresh OS install. If it then still occurs, your gfx card may be done...

I was already running the latest drivers but my Video card is Overclocked.

I restarted my system and so far i haven't seen any problems so i guess i'll just wait and see if it happens again or not.

Those should be as well because i updated everything after the Fall creators update.

The Fall creators update messed up my recent nvidia drivers, making the screen go black, sound loop until freeze. Had to reinstall the nvidia drivers after that, all was well no freezes or such anymore. (I just install the drivers, no experience or 3d vision, gfx and physx only)

I've had problems also after the update pretty pissed at this point

What kind of problems did you encounter?

1. after update it corrupted my ryzen master app and my corsair link

2. I had to reinstall AMD drivers and reset to the power plan

3. I had 1 unexplained BSOD on this system that has never had happen since the build

 

I am not all that concerned with Ryzen Master as I only used it for temp monitor but the problem is I cannot remove it or reinstall it it is locked up on my system at the moment. I was able to reinstall corsair link
