I don't think you would get the update if you just download the official ISO for Windows 10.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10?ranMID=24542&ranEAID=TnL5HPStwNw&ranSiteID=TnL5HPStwNw-w1uZ5dKl4hQT4ouLsjPxeg&tduid=(0511e60d451891f88e5bc3e02d06ae2c)(256380)(2459594)(TnL5HPStwNw-w1uZ5dKl4hQT4ouLsjPxeg)()

Here, you can see two links: one for the normal install tool, and one for the Fall Update, so I think that the normal ISO wouldn't include the update just yet.

You can check the version of the Media Creation Tool by right-clicking > Properties > Details > Product version (it will show Windows build number).

Creators Update (17-03) is build 15063.

Fall Creators Update (17-09) is build 16299.

I would assume the ISO has something similar, although I've only used the Media Creation Tool (it includes ALL editions in both 32&64-bit, and installs to USB without needing extra software).

Now, in your case, Fall Creators Update is 1709 update, so September 2017. Looks like you have the right one.
