Just started my aquaero 6 with another psu that i had laying around so i can configure fans, pumps and alarms before testing for leaks and this led at the back keeps blinking red and changes blinking frequency here and there.

That's normal, all AQ6 do that.

Ok, but now how do you let it know that your fan port 2 and 3 are pumps not fans and why is my vision module on my cooler not working?

If your pump is PWM, then set the mode to PWM on AQ6.

As for Vision, It requires firmware update, Plus make sure the cable is connected(Aquabus or USB).

Hum ok guess il have to wait for the leak testing to be done to plug in the real psu and download aquasuite.

But for the pumps, its not going to have an rpm reading? Because fan channels show both rpm and output on the display?

PWM Pumps will use rpm's as the readout, pumps are basically designed to be used like a fan & can plugged into any 4-pin fan header. Only Aquabus version will give a slightly different readout & Control since there designed for the AQ6 devices.

Most of the devices can be tweaked from the front Panel, It just takes longer due to all the button presses. If you have the remove it speeds things up a bit. Not sure how PWM pumps react with a jumper plugged in & with a AQ6 installed.

Ok. Another question if I may. My cpu cooler is their kryos next with vision which came with a 5 pin usb cable already attached. When i started the aquaero, the vision didnt light up.

Right now its connected to the usb port on the aquaero, but how do i gain access to aquasuite if the usb port is already taken and do i just take a usb cable from the aquaero to any usb port on the mobo?

AQ6 (USB) -> Motherboard

Vision (USB) -> Motherboard

-----

optional:

Vision(Aquabus) -> AQ6 (Cable is not needed if connected via USB)

It's not suppose to be connected to the AQ6. That cable is suppose to be wired to the motherboard.

You can connect two AQ USB cables into one Motherboard USB slot. If already taken you will need the Hubby 7. you can also connect the vision block using a aquabus cable which AquaComputer sells on there store (or create one from PicoBlade terminals Which I did, Check my build log if you need details on how to build the cable).

I suggest downloading the manual for the AQ6 and reading it, The AQ6 can get very complex but it's worth reading.

But the mobo usb 2.0 has one line at 5 pins and the second at 4 pins?

Correct, Usually the 5th or 1st pin is not used with aquacomputer USB devices.

AQ devices attached to my USB Hubs.

You can buy the vision aquabus cable here: https://shop.aquacomputer.de/product_info.php?products_id=3487&XTCsid=p173oc837gvp3ibud7ihfif0h65be33o

You can use both USB & Aquabus cables at the same time.

So i plugged the cable leaving the kryos next on the 5 pin and i plugged another cable on the 4 pin right under which then goes to the aquaero usb port. Is that it?

You need to move the USB cable over one slot on the motherboard into slot that has cover.

USB Cable is backwards it goes Black, Black,Green, White, Red.

I'm not 100% what your using the tacho cable for on AQ6.

Read the back of the the device it will tell you exactly what order to plug it in.  Some devices are different from others. It really doesn't matter what order you plug it in as long as it's the same at each end. Wire is wire, first wire doesn't hold any unique properties that wire 5 doesn't hold.

No offense Seriously how are you not getting this? Each device has writing on it & it tells you exactly how to plug it in. You then match the same order on the motherboard side.

All this is covered in the manual along with the quick guide sheet.
