Looking for overclocking ECC ram tips.

Running into issues overclocking some hynix DDR3 ECC ram, wondering if anyone has any tips, I haven't tried to go too far with it yet. Did some poking and prodding but don't want to push it as I'm not very familiar with ECC overclocking.

 

EDIT: should probably add these are unregistered/unbuffered ECC, single sided dimms.

I thought overclocking ECC ram basically didn't happen.
