Hello,

I have an old laptop that is laying around and doing nothing. So I decided to do something and put a SSD and change the thermal paste. I downvolted the CPU to .900v instead of 1.025. The system is stable and the fan is not too loud. The CPU temp are fine at around 62C under load but.....

The package temp are at 110C!!
The system is supposed to shut down above 90C but it has not done it right now and everything is fine.

Is it something to be woried about?

The specs are:
-A10-5745M
-R7 M260

-10GB of RAM

Use a heat gun to verify with the system disassembled. It sounds more like a bad thermal sensor. Can you observe thermal throttling?
