Is SSD caching worth?

I just got a 240 gb SSD a 1tb hdd. I was thinking of installing Windows on SSD and caching a portion of SSD to speed up hdd. I want to know that if SSD caching is of any worth. I will be storing my games and multimedia oh hdd and os and some apps on SSD.

And please explain the process also
